Meadow View Farm is proud to raise 100% all natural grass fed Belted Galloway Beef, a beef that is not only naturally lean and good for your health, but also delicious.  Our Belted Galloway cattle are raised in a natural, low-stress environment, feed on lush green pastures and are completely hormone-free, resulting in an all natural beef product that is exceptionally tender, full of flavor, and juicy - New England's best!

We pride our selves in raising quality belted galloway show and breeding stock with grass fed genetics.  We maintain a pure and all-natural feeding environment by pasturing our cattle during the summer months an producing our own haylage to support the cows during the winter months.

THIS SPRING

We've put the girls out to pasture and they're loving it! Pretty soon our babies will start to arrive and is always an exciting time of year for us here on the farm.

LAST WINTER

We've been keeping busy this winter shipping beef and going to winter farmers markets. We were buried in snow again this winter so we are really looking forward to getting the cows out to pasture this spring when all the snow melts!

LAST FALL

We had a great time at the Fryeburg Fair in Fryeburg, Maine in October.  We always love going to the fair and bringing a select few of our belted galloway herd with us to 'show' off!  We get so many people stopping by asking about the farm, the belted galloway cows, and about our all natural grass fed beef.  We think it is important to teach people about this wonderful breed of cattle and the way we raise them.  We hope to see you there next Fall!

LAST SUMMER

We were busy here on the farm trying to get in the hay for the upcoming winter!  This summer was the wettest summer we have had in a long time, making it hard to get the hay down and dry. We finally were able to get most of the 1st crop of hay in the first week of July - thank goodness!  The rest of the summer went a little smoother with longer breaks of sunshine!
